Math - Teacher Education

On behalf of the team, I would like to personally thank all of the teachers whom we all have worked with for the past six months. You all are awesome individuals with a lot of knowledge and passion for your work. Each of you truly care about your students and genuinely invest in their futures, especially in preparation to college.

Thank a Teacher

Did you know that for every A or B that you receive in high school could add up to thousands of dollars for your career after college? Think about it. Colleges select students based on excellent grades, community service, college essays and GPAs. All of these areas count towards making your financial stable in the future. So, I challenge you to explore your options. Take advantage of the resources that your teachers, parents, and community leaders provide. Hey, there are plenty of online websites that you can use to help you get promoted in your high school career.

Visit http://www.bls.gov/oco/ to get a detailed description of various occupations. Whether you wish to be a doctor, lawyer, artist, or teacher, this site covers every career that you could possibly think of.

When you are exploring your career and educational options, make a list of all of your interests and talents. Then, do some research in your community and online to gain more knowledge about how you would like to further your career. Finally, select the type of school you would like to attend (trade, community, college, university, etc). yourself these questions:

ASK yourself these questions:

What do I like to do?       What are my talents?      Who can help me get to college?    What do I not like to do?

What am I really good at?     What college do I want to attend?
